Instinct remembers before language does.
Imagine living with it
Keeper of Memory is about memory — not the kind we consciously recall, but the kind that lives deeper within us, passed from one generation to the next without words.
The painting unfolds in three layers. At the top, distant forms move beneath a crescent moon — traces of what has already passed. In the center, a bull occupies the space almost entirely: still, present, and unwavering, holding the composition together. Below, a white hare runs alongside the herd, guided by something older than thought.
Across the surface, small marks emerge and disappear as the light changes. They echo ancient cave paintings and suggest that memory does not belong only to the mind. It lives in the body, in instinct, in rituals, and in the things we do without fully knowing why.
The hare represents intuition. The bulls carry the weight of collective memory. Above them, the moon remains a silent witness.
Rather than telling a story, Keeper of Memory asks a question:
What stays with us long after everything else has been forgotten?
